Radio Park Elementary School Field Trip


Questions

  1. You wrote about your expectations for the trip before we went.  Now that we have gone, what was similar to and what was different from your expectations?
  2. Compare this elementary school to others you have seen.  What was similar and what was different?
  3. What recommendations do you have for IECP students who go on trips like this in the future?
   Answers
     1) I love kids, but at the beginning I was afraid about this trip because I was worried about not corresponding to the kid's expectations and because they spoke other language. But I was surprised, it was an amazing experience. The kids were very specials, they loved our presence and I could feel it. They liked when we read the books, they read books for us, we sang musics. Another thing that was different from my expectations was the time, it was short. 
     2) Comparing with elementary school in Brazil is totally different, we can see they have a good environment, what happens only in some schools in Brazil, the classroom is really appropriate for them, they have a lot of books and toys and they are happy. 
     3) Don't be afraid, it is an awesome experience! If i hadn't been there I would have regreted.
